Each year the goal (pardon the pun!) is to have the event on alternating years in the East and the West. In 2008 The 3rd Annual Shader Kids Ball Hockey Tournament and Auction was held in the “Shader Dome” at Kilcoo Camp in Minden Ontario..
The West barely lost to the might of the Eastern team dominated by Kilcoo young blood bench strength. The weather held and it was another magical weekend filled with great moments – from the live music provided by “The Buffalo Builders”, to the serenity of the memorial service on Chapel Point. Kilcoo Camp must be thanked for making the weekend memorable and the auction so beneficial.

Shader Kids is a charitable foundation that was established in the memory of Tim “Shader” Ross. The mission of the foundation is to develop youth leadership through outdoor experiences.
